The Regional 7v7/9v9 Diploma focuses on the 8-11 year old player. Content highlights player development, principles of play, technique, and tactics with small-sided games.

The Regional Diploma is a 6-hour, in-person course. The course has both field and classroom sessions.

Meet your Instructor: John Curtis

John Curtis holds his USSF “A” license, National Youth License, Talent Scout License, Coach Educator License, Director of Coaching License and has his United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma. Curtis serves on the national staff for U.S. Soccer, US Youth Soccer and the United Soccer Coaches.

John Curtis was employed by the USYS Member State Association, Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), where he served for more than twenty years working his way up through the organization from college intern to Associate Director of Coaching and ultimately serving as Director of Coaching and Player Development.

Currently, John is the Director of Coaching for Nebraska State Soccer Association.
